T. Morgan Cope is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm’s San Diego (Del Mar) office. Mr. Cope performs various tasks related to patent prosecution including all aspects of preparing and prosecuting patent applications.
His areas of technical focus include social media, video games, social networks, virtual worlds, computer software, computer graphics processing, mechanical devices, control systems, wireless communication and business methods.
Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Mr. Cope was a patent agent at Pillsbury and the American Patent & Trademark Law Center. He has extensive experience drafting patent application specification and drawings for provisional, non-provisional, and CIP applications. Previously, he served as a law clerk for the center, conducting patent preparation, including patentability research and drafting provisional patents.
