Morgan Decker is an attorney at Moreno & Villarrubia LLP’s Indianapolis Office. She practices in the Bankruptcy Practice Group and also advises clients on other aspects of Consumer Financial advice and planning.
Morgan was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Indianapolis Public Schools through middle school and graduated from Pike High School. She has a strong connection to the City of Indianapolis. As an Indianapolis native, Morgan has a love for her home town and its people. This connection to the city and its residents allows her to provide her clients with the best financial guidance possible.
Mrs. Decker received her Bachelor of Science from Indiana University Purdue University- Indianapolis in 2005. While attending, Mrs. Decker was a Norman Brown Minority Achiever Scholar and member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Mrs. Decker received her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis in 2008. Morgan was a Conference for Legal Education Opportunity Fellow and was named a Norman Lefstein Fellow.
In law school, Morgan served as Treasurer of the Committee On Diversity Initiatives and served as Vice President of the Black Law Student Association. All her organizational involvement from undergraduate through law school taught Morgan valuable lessons in communication, diligence and teamwork.
Ms. Decker has helped hundreds and hundreds of bankruptcy clients over the years. She has handled both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases. She has experience in everything from discussing general bankruptcy options to filing cases to stop property auction sales, repossessions and garnishments.
She has technical experience in every stage of the bankruptcy practice, yet, as a mother and a wife, she also has the compassion and patience to treat every client as unique and change their life for the better.
