Moshe Mandel is a litigator who represents financial institutions in securities and complex commercial litigation. Mandel’s experience spans federal and state court proceedings, arbitrations, and regulatory and internal investigations. Moshe effectively litigates on behalf of his clients by being detail-oriented and anticipating potential issues without losing sight of a matter’s big picture.
Moshe is actively involved in O’Melveny’s pro bono practice and has represented victims of domestic violence, veterans, and others. His past pro bono work includes representing a domestic violence victim in an appeal related to malicious prosecution and abuse of process claims filed by his client’s ex-spouse.

- Represented AIG in securing settlement on the eve of five-week jury trial of breach of contract lawsuit against AIG’s former head of real estate
- Defending broker-dealer in 6 FINRA arbitrations and a federal litigation, arising from its marketing and sale of auction-rate securities
- Representing underwriters in a class-action litigation arising from the underwriting of securities issued by a payday lending company
- Representing major financial institution in the Tribune Company MDL litigation in connection with allegations that a multi-billion dollar leveraged buyout constituted a fraudulent conveyance and financial advisory services provided in connection with the leveraged buyout constituted malpractice and aided and abetted breaches of fiduciary duties
