
Nadya Munasifi Sand is a partner in the Intellectual Property – Trademark & Copyright Group in the Atlanta office. Nadya concentrates her practice on domestic and international trademark and copyright portfolio management, prosecution, enforcement, litigation, counseling, and advertising clearance and litigation.
She has experience in federal and state court litigation, handling contested matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau, and in domain name arbitrations brought under ICANN’s Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP).
Nadya earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was a merit scholar and a member of The Journal of Entertainment & Technology Law. Before attending law school, Nadya served as an account executive for two years at the marketing agencies Emergence and Pure Red.
She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, highest distinction, from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where she concentrated in marketing, organization, and management and was named the Ron Frank Marketing Scholar.
