Najee K. Thornton is a corporate associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. Mr. Thornton earned his J.D., cum laude, from Howard University School of Law, where he served as managing editor of the Howard Law Journal. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for Judge Gretchen Rohr in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
Mr. Thornton has committed his time to supporting underserved communities. Prior to attending law school, he managed an after-school and summer reading program for youth at the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools. He also served as a mentor for youth in the foster care and probation systems through Children Uniting Nations.
