I am senior partner and supervisor of O’Connell and Aronowitz’s Health Law practice. Concentrating in areas of health care and general corporate enterprise development and transactions, I represent both for-profit and not-for-profit clients in corporate business transactions including: corporate formation; joint ventures; sales, mergers and acquisitions; buy-sell agreements; real estate transactions, leasing and financing; certificate of need; licensing and the operation of health care facilities.
I have spoken on topics involving health care licensing, corporate formation, not-for-profit corporate issues, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and various issues in health law to trade association groups as well as the Albany County and New York State Bar Associations. Community service is an integral part of my personal and professional life.
I have a decades-long relationship with the Junior League of Albany, an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
I am past president of the Komen Foundation of Northeastern New York and the Brown School Board of Directors, and have served on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association.
