As an associate in the firm’s litigation, business and corporate, and real estate practice groups, Nathan Pestka is involved with a range of transactions and disputes.
While earning dual bachelor’s degrees, with honors, in Political Science and History, Nate interned in the U.S. Senate and worked on local political campaigns. He went on to pursue his Juris Doctor at Boston University School of Law, where he supplemented his classroom learning as a law clerk for Judge Christopher Yates of the Kent County Business Court and as a summer associate with McShane & Bowie. Nate graduated from law school in August 2017 and moved home to Michigan to join the firm after passing the bar exam.
Having grown up in a family that was engaged in commercial real estate, Nate’s background provides context for the legal issues he encounters each day – both in the courtroom and at the negotiating table. He has gained first-chair trial experience and routinely interacts with clients and colleagues on a variety of business transactions, corporate governance, and real estate deals.

This guy is an idiot
This guy wants illegals to take your jobs – and will take pro bono cases to make it happen. He’s even bragged about it on the rivals main board.
