Nicholas A. Rosenberg is an associate in the Corporate Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Washington D.C. office. Mr. Rosenberg counsels clients on various issues related to the formation, financing and growth of their businesses and advises both established and emerging companies in a range of business and corporate law matters. He has represented a wide range of clients in connection with various transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, leveraged buy outs, venture financings and other commercial transactions.
He frequently advises clients on business strategy and guides them as they consider and execute significant transactions. Mr. Rosenberg also represents recording artists, songwriters, music producers, record labels, TV & radio personalities, management companies and others in the entertainment business. In this capacity, he focuses on transactional entertainment matters.
He has represented artists such as Faith Evans, A Tribe Called Quest, Katharine McPhee, Jennifer Hudson and Vince Staples, music producers and songwriters who have contributed to records by such artists as Eminem, Justin Timberlake, A$ap Rocky, Whitney Houston, James Taylor, Snoop Dogg, and Lil Wayne, as well as radio and television personalities such as ESPN and Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg.
Mr. Rosenberg has spoken at South by Southwest, The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU Tisch and Columbia College Chicago. He has written several publications for Law 360. During law school he was on the staff of the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law and received The Henrietta Metcalf Prize.
