
Nicole A. Paterson is an associate and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice. Nicole was a summer associate with Foley in 2017, in the firm’s Milwaukee office.
Prior to joining Foley, Nicole worked as a student associate at the Marquette Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where she provided more than 240 pro bono hours assisting start-up companies with various legal issues, including entity selection, business formation, and seed funding. Additionally, she served as a legal volunteer at Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic, and was inducted into the Pro Bono Honor Society.
Education :
Nicole earned her law degree from Marquette University Law School (J.D., magna cum laude, 2018), where she was an editor for the Marquette Law Review and a student leader for the Academic and Supplemental Success Programs.
She earned three CALI Awards for highest grade, including awards in legal writing, law of governing lawyers, and federal income taxation. She was also on the Dean’s list for six semesters.
Nicole also received a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s of science degree with a double major in accountancy and commercial real estate from Marquette University.
