Nicole Jakubowski represents a variety of clients in complex commercial litigation and governmental investigations. Ms. Jakubowski has represented companies in disputes relating to mergers and acquisitions, the fiduciary obligations of directors and officers, securities and derivative litigation, and commercial contracts.
Her experience includes cases in federal and state tribunals in all phases of litigation, at both the trial and appellate levels. She also has represented corporations and individuals in connection with investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission.
She has assisted boards and audit committees in conducting internal investigations of potential accounting irregularities, improper business practices and corporate governance issues, including those related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Ms. Jakubowski maintains an active pro bono practice and has advised clients in connection with criminal appeals and asylum and immigration applications.
