Nicole Ziegler joined Emerson Straw in 2018. Nicole has been a practicing trial and appellate lawyer in the Tampa Bay area since 2010. Nicole earned her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and raking among the two percent of her class.
While in law school she served as the Business Editor of the Florida Coastal Law Review. Nicole also served as a judicial intern to Justice Ricky Polston and former Justice Kenneth Bell on the Florida Supreme Court.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saint Francis where she graduated Valedictorian. In addition to her collegiate studies she captained the University of Saint Francis women’s soccer team and was recognized as an Honorable Mention All-American women’s soccer player and was selected to the ESPN The Magazine All-American team.
In 2010, Nicole joined Keane, Reese, Vesely & Gerdes as an associate, then became a partner representing clients in variety of civil litigation and appellate matters including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, child abuse, automobile negligence cases, and commercial and business matters.
Nicole is an active member of the Florida Bar and currently serves on the Appellate Court Rules Committee. She is also involved in the Tampa Bay area through Leadership St. Petersburg, the Police Athletic League of St. Petersburg, and coaching youth soccer. Nicole was raised in Dayton, Ohio and currently resides in Palm Harbor, Florida with her husband and two children.
