Norman B. Page focuses on domestic and international business transactions, including finance and commercial law. His experience includes software distribution and licensing, joint ventures and strategic alliances, with an emphasis on international markets. Norm works with Internet and e-commerce clients on commercial and financial matters, including credit programs with Internet payment companies.
Norm also does substantial secured lending work. Norm Page has served as chair of the firm’s China practice since 1993 when he was instrumental in establishing DWT’s Shanghai office. The office officially opened on January 1, 1994 making DWT the first U.S. firm to have a law office in Shanghai.
In 2007, Norm relocated to Shanghai where he continues to live and work, dividing his time between his responsibilities as chair of DWT’s China practice and as an adjunct professor at East China University of Political Science and Law and Fudan University Law School. He teaches courses in cross-border business transactions and U.S. Constitutional Law.
Before moving to Shanghai, Norm served for 10 years as chair of DWT’s firm wide Executive Committee and 15 years as chair of DWT’s Finance and Commercial Transactions Practice. Norm’s principal clients include: Bank of America, General Electric Capital Corp., Microsoft Corporation, Microsoft Financing Corp., Starbucks Coffee Company, and Amazon.com.
