
Olya Antle focuses her practice on bankruptcy and immigration law. As a member of the firm’s Business Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice group. Ms. Antle specializes in representation of creditors, creditors’ committees, creditors’ committee members, and trustees in bankruptcy and litigation matters.
Presently, Ms. Antle is actively involved in the firm’s engagements as counsel to the Liquidating Trustee in In re Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc. (Bankr. E.D. Va.) and local counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in In re Toys “R” Us, Inc. (Bankr. E.D. Va.).
Ms. Antle has additionally served as counsel to the Plan Co-Administrator in In re Peabody Energy Corporation (Bankr. E.D. Mo.). Through her practice of immigration law, Ms. Antle assists immigrants and their families, as well as businesses employing foreign nationals, with meeting legal compliance with the U.S. immigration laws. Ms. Antle’s representations also include investors and specialty visa holders.
Originally from Ukraine, Ms. Antle came to the United States at the age of 15 as a high school student through the U.S. Department of State’s Future Leaders Exchange program. Ms. Antle is a proud Ukrainian-American dedicated to promoting international partnerships through her involvement with the Tidewater Ukrainian Cultural Association.
Ms. Antle’s other community involvement includes her service on the Board of the Women Against Violence (“WAV”), a volunteer service group affiliated with the Samaritan House and dedicated to providing assistance to victims of domestic violence.
