Palash Basu counsels clients on intellectual property procurement strategy, portfolio development, and patent litigation matters. Palash focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications in the electrical, mechanical, and software arts, including machine learning, computer vision, augmented reality, cloud computing, autonomous vehicle systems, internet-of-things (IoT), 3D printing, electronic circuits and packaging, semiconductor device fabrication, and medical devices.
Before attending law school, Palash was a senior electronic systems engineer in the aerospace industry, working on electronic subsystems in unmanned aerial vehicles, satellites, navigational systems and other spacecraft systems.
He is a licensed professional engineer and regularly draws from his scientific and engineering experience while helping clients secure rights to their inventions.
