Paloma Z. Ahmadi enjoys counseling and representing clients through every stage of potential and actual employment and labor disputes. Her practice focuses on labor and employment litigation, counseling, and the labor and employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
Paloma joins the firm from Major League Baseball’s Office of the Commissioner, where her practice included labor relations, collective bargaining, grievance proceedings, employment litigation, and international employment issues. Paloma has represented clients in EEOC proceedings and wage and hour litigation, and counsels clients on codes of conduct, and ethics and compliance policies.
Paloma also has extensive experience both as in-house counsel and outside counsel advising clients on compliance with anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”) and related anti-corruption laws, as well as compliance with OFAC sanctions. She has conducted internal investigations on behalf of clients related to FCPA, OFAC, and related matters in jurisdictions around the globe.
She has also helped clients to create, update, implement and administer global anti-corruption compliance programs. Finally, Paloma has counseled clients on the compliance aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
