She has Co-Chaired the Family Law Committee of the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association during the period 2006-2009. In this position, she arranged and served as a co-chair for many seminars on family law topics that featured some of the most prominent family law attorneys and most well-respected judges of Connecticut.
She attends many Continuing Legal Education Courses each year to stay updated with the recent developments in her practice area. She is well-versed with all the computer software needed to be efficient in the family law field such as Family Law Software, LexisNexis, FinPlan, and Westlaw. She serves as a Special Master in the Tolland and Hartford Judicial Districts.
Pamela Magnano is involved in many charitable events and organizations ever since she attended law school. She volunteered with an organization located outside of Boston, Massachusetts called and provided legal representation to individuals in local shelters, while in law school.
She later used this experience to help battered women with domestic violence issues, family law issues, and housing issues. After becoming a member of the bar, she continued to give back to the community.
She is a member on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Law Center of Connecticut, a non-profit agency protecting the interest of indigent kids in family court, and advocating policies to promote their well-being.
Before practicing law in Connecticut, she worked with a prominent law firm in Braintree, Massachusetts. She was one of four attorneys and practiced family law while representing clients in many courts throughout the state of Massachusetts including Civil Court, Family and Probate Court, and Criminal Court.
She attended the Suffolk University Law School in Boston and began her courtroom experience as a student prosecutor. She prosecuted all levels of crimes from Arraignments to Trials, while in law school.
Pamela M. Magnano earned a place on the Dean’s List and obtained her Juris Doctorate in the year 2003. She graduated from Stetson University in Florida while receiving her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology in 2000.
