Patrick Hill is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Products Liability Group. Before joining Alston & Bird, he served in multiple roles in various federal and state courts, including law clerk to the Honorable Frank M. Hull of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, law clerk to the Honorable W. Keith Watkins of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, and extern to the Honorable Keith R. Blackwell of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
In these roles, Patrick assisted in civil and criminal matters, including complex commercial, regulatory, class action, civil rights, insurance, employment, immigration, and constitutional cases.
Patrick earned his J.D., with high honors, from Emory University, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif, was the notes and comments editor for the Emory Law Journal, served as a Dean’s Teaching Fellow, and received the Mary Laura “Chee” Davis Award for Writing Excellence. Before attending law school, Patrick taught middle and high school science as part of the Teach For America program.
