Patrick Philippe Lacroix

Arizona Child & Family Law

Patrick Philippe Lacroix is the founder and co-owner of Arizona Child & Family Law. I am a private-practice attorney in Tucson, Arizona representing parents and children in adoption, dependency, severance, guardianships, domestic violence, and domestic relations matters.

In addition to English, I speak Spanish and French. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA). I earned my B.A. degree from Georgetown University and my J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Arizona Rogers College of Law.

I have devoted my legal career to protecting the welfare and the rights of children in Arizona. After graduating from law school, I worked for a judge who taught me to always remain focused on the children and the families we serve.

I have taken her philosophy into my legal practice and have represented hundreds of children, parents, relatives, and others who seek to care for and protect children through adoption, dependency, probate, and family law matters.

Early in my career I had the honor of spending five years at a law firm that encouraged the ethical and scholarly practice of family law. The attorneys at that firm instilled in me the belief that I have a responsibility to ensure the families I serve, and the community as a whole, benefit from my counsel.

As a scholar of the law, I lecture both locally and nationally on the subject of adoption law and contested adoptions.  I am blessed to practice law in Arizona. I strongly believe that it is important for me to give back to the legal community.

I was named one of the top 50 pro bono attorneys in Arizona in 2015.  I was also awarded the Outstanding Pro Bono Attorney of the Month in April 2015 for volunteering to assist 218 clients in Pima County during the last ten years of my legal practice.

I am a member of the Arizona State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Pima County Bar Association, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. I have served as a trustee on several non-profit boards in the Tucson area.
