Patrick D. Walling is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of The Private Credit Group. Patrick concentrates on middle-market finance transactions that range from $5 million to $500 million, including unitranche, one-stop, second lien, secured mezzanine, mezzanine, holdco, preferred stock and other forms of private credit and junior capital finance.
He has experience representing a diverse group of senior lenders, business development companies, specialty finance companies, hedge funds, mezzanine funds, small business investment company funds, insurance companies, bank subsidiaries and specialty opportunity funds.
Patrick has represented lenders in cash flow as well as asset-based transactions across a wide range of industries, including technology, healthcare, retail, professional services, airlines, sports, business logistics and education, for transactions that include acquisitions, growth capital investments, refinancings and recapitalizations.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Patrick served as a staff advocate at the Conservation Law Foundation in Boston where he helped develop environmental policy and advocacy positions in favor of clean energy, clean water, healthy forests, ocean conservation and environmental justice.
