Paul received his Masters of Law in Taxation from New York University School of Law. He received his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from Albany Law School where he was a member of the Albany Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Politics from Fairfield University. Paul is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and New York.
Paul is a member of the Estates & Probate Section and the Elder Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He is a past president of the Estate and Tax Planning Council of Eastern Connecticut and was a contributing expert to 2009 edition of The American Heritage Dictionary of Business Terms.
He served as Secretary of the Stonington Land Trust and as and Vice Chairman of the Stonington Planning & Zoning Commission. Currently Paul serves as Treasurer of the Stonington Free Library and as a board member of the Stonington Community Center.
Prior to establishing Holland Law Offices, Paul worked as a wealth planner for a Registered Investment Advisory firm in Essex Connecticut. While there, Paul integrated asset management with estate planning to provide comprehensive financial and legal planning.
Before that, Paul was Vice President at Essex Savings Bank where he managed the trust department. Paul began his career practicing law at the prestigious firm, Cummings & Lockwood.
