In 1993, Attorney Paul Ford moved his practice to Jonesboro, Arkansas and founded Ford & Cook, PLC. He proudly provides high quality criminal defense and represents people in complex domestic litigation andchild custody matters.
Mr. Ford devotes a significant part of his practice to representing people who have been injured by the actions of others, including medical negligence, nursing home abuse, construction injuries, andtractor trailer wrecks.
It is these types of problems where real life and law cross paths and impact clients and their families on a deep and personal level. The intense desire to make a difference in the lives of people drives Mr. Ford to offer the best legal service possible when they are hurting.
Since 1987, Attorney Ford has worked to help clients with their legal matters. He strives to provide exceptional legal service with a focus on the laws and safety.
After passing the bar exam, Mr. Ford joined his father’s law practice in his hometown of Wynne, Arkansas. While practicing as a public defender, Mr. Ford gained his first experience handling capital murder cases.
He has since tried seven death penalty casesto verdict and has been successful in keeping all of his client’s off death row.
He was honored to represent Jason Baldwin in the case that is now commonly referred to as the West Memphis 3; a case that has been the subject of multiple books, documentaries, and movies.
A graduate of the Spence Trial Lawyers College, which was founded by renowned trial lawyer Gerry Spence to teach the best in trial strategies and personal and client development.
Mr. Ford has been selected as a faculty member of the Keenan Ball College where other lawyers now come to learn these trial techniques. He was recently selected to serve of the Alumni Board for the Trial Lawyers College.
Attorney Ford is most passionate about his work in the community with John 3:16 Ministries, a spiritual boot camp for men with addictions.
In this ministry, he has been able to combine his faith and the practice of law to continue in his passion to make a difference in the lives of people in need of help.
