
Mr. Paul Mattingly is the National Chair of the Real Estate Department and a member of Seyfarth Shaw’s Executive Committee and Compensation Committee. During Mr. Mattingly’s tenure as Chair, the Real Estate Department has grown to be one of the five largest commercial real estate practice departments in the United States.
In 2012 alone, the Real Estate Department represented clients in transactions worth more than $15 billion. Among other achievements, the Seyfarth Real Estate Department was involved in five of the ten largest industrial portfolio transactions of 2012.
Mr. Mattingly’s practice involves leading teams that serve institutional real estate clients in transactions across the United States, including a real estate finance team that has closed loans having a value in excess of $6 billion in the last three years, and a leasing and development team that represents one of the world’s largest retailers on a national basis.
Mr. Mattingly has been active in the Department’s implementation of SeyfarthLean and has been active in working with clients to develop alternative fee arrangements that work for the client and our Firm.
