Paul is licensed to practice before all State and Federal Courts in Arkansas, and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis, and has been admitted pro hac vice before the Courts of other States. He has been appointed by the Governor of Arkansas to serve as a Special Associate Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court. He has also been appointed by the Governor of Arkansas to serve on the Legislative Task Force on Private Property rights. In 2018, he was appointed to the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct. In addition to his private practice, he presently serves as City Attorney for Hamburg, Arkansas having been elected to that office in 2002. Mr. Keith has been active in the state bar, currently serving on the Board of Governors of the Arkansas Bar Association and having previously been elected to the House of Delegates of the Association and having served on the Association’s Mock Trial Competition Committee as a regional coordinator of the event. He also has been active in community affairs by serving on the Hamburg, Arkansas Chamber of Commerce Board and as Chamber President and the Hamburg City Planning Commission and the Hamburg School Board as member and president. He and his wife Kandi are members of the First United Methodist Church in Hamburg, where they serve on the Administrative Council and Mr. Keith is church lay leader. Their children are Joanna O’Neal (married to Greg O’Neal and mother of our grand daughter, Kinlee O’Neal), Joy Parr (married to Nate Parr) and Jack Keith (married to Mary Knight and father of our grand daughter, Collins).
