She serves as the practice coordinator at the Houston insurance group of the law firm Phelps Dunbar LLP. She previously worked as a prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. While working there, she focussed on investigations and trials of a wide range of felony and misdemeanor cases.
Peri Alkas has obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center in 1992. While in law school, she serves as the Articles Editor for The Houston Journal of International Law. Before studying law, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Managerial Studies in 1989 from Rice University.
