Peter M. Oxman is a partner in the Real Estate Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Mr. Oxman has 25 years of experience in a broad range of real estate transactions, including the development, leasing, financing, acquisition and disposition of multifamily, office, student housing, industrial, and healthcare projects in the U.S. and Latin America.
He has considerable experience in negotiating domestic and international joint ventures and multi-jurisdictional portfolio transactions. His clients include leading real estate developers, investors, fund sponsors, healthcare operators and lenders.
From 2013-2016, Mr. Oxman served as the Houston City Co-Chair for the Lawyers Council on Legal Diversity’s law school mentoring programs. From 1997-1999, Mr. Oxman served as a member of the Houston Planning Commission. From 2002-2004, Mr. Oxman served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Harris County Municipal Management District No. 1. He is a graduate of Class XIV of Leadership Houston.
