Peter Billings has 40 years of experience in a practice focused on large-scale, complex, commercial litigation. He has been lead counsel working with teams of attorneys on large cases in the areas of antitrust, bankruptcy, environmental law, legal and accounting malpractice and class action lawsuits as well as other areas.
Peter represents clients in Utah, Nevada, California and Wyoming, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, 9th and 10th U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals and the District of Columbia.
Peter’s credentials and reputation have led to him being named a Fellow in the Utah Chapter of the American Bar Foundation, an organization limited to less than a fraction of one percent of the Utah Bar.
He has served the legal profession as Chairman of the Utah Supreme Court’s Advisory Committee on Appellate Rules and as an arbitrator for the U.S. District Court alternative resolution program.
He serves the community on the advisory board for KUER Public Radio and on the board of trustees for EDCUtah. Peter received his B.A. from Brown University, graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School and was awarded the Arnold Fellowship for independent study at Kings College, Cambridge, England.
