Peter Weinstein

Peter D. Weinstein focuses his legal practice on corporate finance matters, mergers and acquisition, and insurance litigation. Peter regularly negotiates corporate transactions in French and English. His international clients include one of the world’s largest international publishing firms, major French insurance companies, one of the largest fruit importers in Canada, and a French pharmaceutical manufacturer.

He also has served as general counsel to a major producer of equipment for the pulp and paper industry, and has represented domestic banks, a merchant banking firm, and several of the television industry’s largest post production companies.

Peter has written extensively in the fields of domestic and international law, with articles appearing in The Encyclopedia Americana and The Indian Journal of International Law. Prior to joining Olshan, Peter was a member of Morrison Cohen Singer & Weinstein. He also lectured in law at the University of Maryland, and previously served as an officer in the U.S. Army.
