Philip J. Berens is a member of the Subrogation & Recovery Department and has a great deal of litigation experience, handling many cases from inception through conclusion. He has conducted jury trials and completed an intensive trial advocacy program that was certified by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
Philip earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law. While at Michigan State, he was a member of the Moot Court and the Trial Advocacy Board and earned a certificate in trial practice from the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Michigan State University.
