Clients in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, securities, and construction, value his depth of knowledge and his desire to be part of the team.

As one of the founding partners of the firm’s Charlotte office, Phil has come up against many of the same business growth issues that his clients face, deepening his understanding of their challenges.
He regularly serves clients as an “outside general counsel,” where his experience in transactional and other business matters gives him the knowledge to talk about a client’s legal and business needs on a comprehensive level. When he comes up against a matter outside his purview, Phil acts as a liaison in bringing in colleagues as he continues to manage the case, keeping in mind the clients’ best interest.
