Philip C. Wong is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he practices corporate and securities law and represents companies at all stages of their life cycle, from start-ups to public companies, as well as venture capital firms, investment banks, and other institutional investors.
His practice covers a broad range of general corporate and transactional matters, including public offerings, venture-backed private financings, mergers and acquisitions, public company disclosure matters, and corporate governance.
During law school, Phil worked at the Entrepreneurship Law Center of Bluhm Legal Clinic, where he advised early-stage companies and entrepreneurs on transactional matters such as entity formation, intellectual property protection, and operational issues.
He also worked for the Searle Center on Law, Regulation, and Economic Growth, where he assisted in researching the impact of laws and regulations on economic growth. Prior to attending law school, Phil worked at KPMG in the forensic group and at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the bankruptcy and restructuring group. Phil is a certified public accountant (inactive) licensed by the state of California.
