Quashondra L. Battle focuses her practice on litigation. Since joining Dinsmore, she has gained experience in cases involving the False Claims Act, consumer protection acts, judicial foreclosures, breach of contract, and other complex legal issues.
She recognizes a client’s success depends on her ability to understand the larger picture and prides herself on digging into the details of her clients’ cases. This attribute has led to dismissal of cases for clients prior to entering the discovery phase.
Quashondra regularly drafts pleadings and manages discovery, including document production and preparing discovery requests and responses. She also appreciates that not all cases are best resolved at trial.
Quashondra, has experience mediating issues and drafting settlement agreements and other essential documents and correspondence relating to litigation alternatives.
Prior to joining the firm, she interned with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Tennessee Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, where she developed an understanding of consumer protection laws.
She also interned in the Georgia Public Defender Council’s Appellate Division, where she represented a criminal defendant under the Georgia Student Practice Rule and argued a motion for a new trial before the Superior Court of Richmond County Georgia.
In addition to her responsibilities, Quashondra volunteers with Adopt A Class, a non-profit geared towards fostering mentorship between various professionals and children in economically challenged schools. She also assists indigent clients through Dinsmore’s Volunteer Lawyers Program in conjunction with legal aid.
