Cory Schnepper practices workers’ compensation, labor, and employment law as a shareholder in the law firm of Levine, Busch & Schnepper PA. He specializes in the areas of the Workers’ Compensation Act, The Americans with Disabilities Act and other disability related fields, as well as employees’ rights in the workplace.
Cory, a proud native of Brooklyn, New York, is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 1976. While attending law school, he was awarded membership in the University of Miami Law Review, the Society of Wig and Robe, and the Society of Bar and Gavel.
After graduating from law school, Cory became a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section, the Florida Justice Association, formerly known as the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the American Association of Justice, formerly known as the Academy of Trial Lawyers of America, the Miami-Dade County Bar Association, and the Miami-Dade County Trial Lawyers Association.
He is also a member of Florida Workers Advocates. In addition, he also practices in Federal Court, where he is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida.
A recipient of the Friends of 440 Honorary Award in 1997, he is also a past President, and presently a Trustee, of that organization, which is dedicated to service in the workers’ compensation area.
Likewise, he is a Trustee, and presently the Treasurer, of the Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund, which helps to provide financial assistance to students who are children of injured workers, or those otherwise involved in the field of workers’ compensation. He is included in the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Florida Guide Book of Law and Leading Attorneys.
