Rachael joined Walker & Eakes in 2009 and is engaged in all areas of the firm’s insurance defense practice.
Born and raised in rural Alaska, Rachael graduated from McGrath High School with a class of six. She received her B.A. in American Studies from Stanford University in 2004 and her J.D. from Brigham Young University in 2007.
While in law school, Rachael was a senior editor for the Journal of Education and Law, a mediator for the Schooley Mediation Center, and a recipient of the Pro Bono Service Award.
Prior to joining the firm, Rachael served as acting associate general counsel for Bristol Bay Native Corporation and served as a law clerk to Judge Morgan Christen. Rachael was also a summer law clerk for Sonosky, Chamber, Sachse, Miller & Munson, a law clerk for the Utah Disability Law Center, and an intern for U.S. Senator Ted Stevens.
