Rachel Claire Kurzweil is an associate in the Health Care and Life Sciences practice. Ms. Kurzweil advises a broad-based group of companies in the health care industry, assisting these clients in matters related to Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, regulatory compliance as well as privacy matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kurzweil was a Legal Fellow at the AARP Foundation where she conducted legal research and advised attorneys on Medicare, Medicaid, Affordable Care Act, and False Claims Act issues such as coverage, reimbursements, and eligibility. In addition, she has experience analyzing administrative law questions regarding agency action concerning the Administrative Procedure Act with the Department of Health and Human Services.
Ms. Kurzweil received her J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law. She served as symposium editor of the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice. Ms. Kurzweil earned her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College.
