Rachel Raphael is a senior attorney in the Litigation group. She focuses her practice on the litigation, arbitration and negotiated resolution of complex insurance and reinsurance disputes. Rachel previously worked as a law clerk for the Office of the Assistant General Counsel for International Affairs of the US Department of Treasury and as a financial restructuring analyst at Houlihan Lokey.
As a law clerk for the Office of the Assistant General Counsel, she conducted legal research, drafted memoranda and assisted with legislative interpretation concerning the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), multilateral development banks and the Dodd-Frank Act.
As a financial restructuring analyst at Houlihan Lokey, Rachel performed valuation analysis, developed complex financial models and advised clients in debt and equity refinancings, out-of-court restructurings and in-court bankruptcy proceedings.
