Rachel Adel Sedita’s focus in every case is on the client: she listens to determine her client’s goals, then devises straight-forward strategies to achieve client success. Rachel’s interest in family law began with an internship at the Office of the Attorney General, Child Support Division, while she pursued her undergraduate degree from Trinity University. At South Texas College of Law, Rachel continued to follow her interest in family law.
She participated in the Complex Family Law Clinic, representing individuals with divorce and child custody cases. Rachel returned to the Office of the Attorney General, Child Support Division, where she assisted in a wide variety of family law matters, including child support establishment, termination, modification, and enforcement issues.
Rachel attained her mediator’s certificate from the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution. Her training in mediation, negotiation, and dispute resolution allows Rachel to successfully advocate for her clients. Rachel interned at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals under Justice Frost. She was also selected as an articles editor for the Currents International Trade Journal.
Rachel was a member of the prestigious Houston Young Lawyers Association’s Leadership Academy, class of 2013-2014. She was selected as an articles writer for the Affiliate Newsletter with the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association.
Rachel is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, the Southern District of Texas, and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
