Rafael Raulin Pichardo own’s the law firm Pichardo Immigration Associates, LLC and an experienced Immigration Lawyer in all the matters concerning family immigration.
Pichardo has attended Wesleyan University and graduated with a degree in Latin American Studies and Spanish Literature and later worked in the nonprofit sector for four and a half years before attending law school.
Rafael Pichardo attended the Law School of the University of Connecticut, where he also completed a certification program on international human rights standards.
Pichardo’s work after law school has always focused on immigrants, their rights from the perspective of human rights, and from the perspective of immigration from the United States.
In order to offer services that consider not only the immediate needs of immigrants, but also their long term, they began their law practice, which serves clients with the following immigration issues:
- Complicated citizenship issues Naturalization- including those of a criminal nature and with barriers to good moral character.
- Removal / Deportation – representation of permanent residents and unauthorized immigrants before immigration courts to help defend against deportation.
- Applications for Permanent Residency – we help those who are ready to complete the last step on their path to permanent residency either through the consular process abroad or adjustment of status before USCIS.
- Family Petitions – requests from family members, such as spouses, children, parents and siblings who are citizens of the United States or Permanent Residents.
