Rajin Singh Olson is a registered Patent Attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office who focuses on intellectual property and technology litigation.
Rajin crafted his education around broad-based, diverse experiences. In college, he earned majors in Civil Engineering, Spanish, and International Studies, pursuing a wide body of knowledge in multiple subjects. Coming from a multicultural background, Rajin learned early on that one-size-fits-all solutions don’t actually fit all sizes.
Rajin seeks to apply that personalized approach to intellectual property and technology litigation, drawing upon both his technical acumen and creative skills to harmoniously serve clients’ legal needs.
In law school, Rajin focused on civil litigation, earning a concentration in the field while graduating cum laude. Rajin honed his litigation skills in the Detainee Rights Clinic, where he represented detained immigrants in immigration court and defended them from deportation. While in the clinic, he wrote briefs and appeals, negotiated with opposing counsel, and led a trial team to a successful outcome.
Rajin was also an editorial board member of the Minnesota Law Review, where he honed his writing, research, and editing skills. He developed a nuanced perspective to litigation in federal courts after serving as an extern in the U.S. Attorneys’ Office for the District of Minnesota.
Rajin speaks Spanish and basic Punjabi. He enjoys visiting family, winning third place at bar trivia, and Bhangra dancing in his free time.
