An attorney since 1991, Rebecca Walsh’s extensive legal experience includes many verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million for personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Rebecca Walsh joined Reiter & Walsh ABC Law Centers in 2011 to focus on her skills in medical malpractice, specifically in birth trauma litigation.
As a partner and senior attorney at Reiter & Walsh, her work has significantly contributed to the firm’s consistent award-winning presence. Not only is Walsh recognized as a skillful litigator, she is also known as an active participant in her Metro Detroit community. Her service with the Huron Valley School Board spans roles including President, Vice President, Task Force member and others.
She has also served on nine committees for the Huron Valley School Board. Walsh sat on the Ronald McDonald House of Southeastern Michigan Board of Directors (2009-2015), founded and worked with the Oakland Gymnastic Booster Club, and sat on the Justice Caucus Board of Directors (2009-2012). She also graduated from the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College and was asked to join the prestigious Melvin Belli Society (2012).
Walsh maintains active participation in other professional groups and associations including the Michigan Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the Birth Trauma Litigation Group. She is consistently awarded by publications and groups including Super Lawyers, U.S. News & World Report/Best Lawyers, Michigan Lawyers Weekly, and many others. Walsh is also a dedicated educator and speaker.
She is a frequent author and lecturer on legal issues including insurance litigation and trial practices, and she has published several articles on these topics. In the past, she taught Legal Methods at Cooley Law School as an adjunct professor.
