
Ms. Rebecca Woods is national Co-Chair of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and is Chair of the Atlanta Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Woods has a broad and winning first-chair complex civil litigation practice handling matters up to $100 million for Fortune 100 companies. She litigates and counsels clients on myriad complex contractual and business tort issues rooted in real estate, joint venture, insurance, construction, trade secrets and intellectual property infringement, privacy and employment.
Her practice encompasses a broad range of industries including financial services, insurance, real estate, construction, manufacturing, retail, transportation, energy, and government contractors.
Her practice is national in scope and she has tried jury and bench trials in state and federal courts. She brings to bear her experience, people skills, and common sense to provide superior strategy development and alignment with her client’s business goals. She is a trained professional coach and utilizes her coaching and management skills for effective team building and litigation project execution.
She is a talented trial lawyer and skilled at all levels of oral advocacy, including appellate. She understands the importance of and is skilled in well-timed and persuasive settlement negotiations. Ms. Woods also provides counseling and advice on privacy and data security issues, trade secret protection, cyber security risks, and cyber-insurance coverage.
Ms. Woods brings to bear a commitment to continuous process improvement, as evidenced by her Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
