She later joined DiscounTechnology as in-house counsel. She handled different types of transactional issues in areas like immigration law, intellectual property law, employment law, and contract law.
She founded the Law And Effect Group in 2013. She served as the principal attorney at this San Diego-based immigration law firm. She joined her current law firm, Higgs Fletcher and Mack, as a partner in July 2014.
