Revée M. Walters

Revée M. Walters is an attorney in the Commercial Litigation and Landlord Representation practice groups, and is a member of Offit Kurman’s Diversity Committee. She represents small and large companies in a wide variety of industries in state and federal court litigation, mediations, arbitrations, and agency proceedings. A focus of her practice is on the representation of clients in diverse and complex housing and employment law matters.

This representation includes drafting commercial and residential leases, management agreements and partnership agreements related to real estate; advising and representing clients in cases involving public accommodation, the Fair Housing Act and Americans with Disabilities Act, breaches of lease, wrongful detainer and tenant holdover; and advising clients on employment issues.

In addition, Revée also handles cases involving breaches of contract, securities fraud, insurance coverage disputes and shareholder disputes. In 2017 and 2018 Ms. Walters was named a Maryland Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Revée is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

She currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Montgomery County Bar Association and she is a member of the Judicial Selections Panel Committee for the Montgomery County Bar Association; is a head coach for the Thurgood Marshall National Trial Team at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law; and is a hearing examiner for the Baltimore City Public School system.

Prior to joining Offit Kurman, Revée worked as a law clerk for a boutique law firm in Rockville, working on family law matters. In 2011, Revée interned for the Honorable Sherrie Bailey of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.
