Richard H. Casper is a partner and corporate lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Since 1975, he has acted as a counselor on the full spectrum of commercial matters affecting businesses, including licensing, purchasing/selling, lending, distribution/agency, and bankruptcy.

Representative Matters :

  • Foley represented Lignotech (U.S.) Inc. in their $5 million acquisition of Flambeau River Papers lignin business.
  • Represented a consumer appliance manufacturer client in the ongoing review and revision. Also counseled it regarding its print and Internet advertising materials and programs.
  • Represented a consumer appliances company in reviewing, revising, and drafting warranties for consumer appliances.
  • Represented a paper pulp manufacturer and prepared standard terms for client purchase orders. Foley also provided counseling on the use of the same to protect the client’s interests in a battle-of-the-forms context.
  • Assisted a manufacturer of processed meat products in reviewing, revising, and negotiating supply contracts with a national fast food franchisor.
  • Assisted a production equipment manufacturer client in analyzing its risks in connection with the termination of a longstanding sales representation and distributorship relationship.
