Richard B. Christiansen focuses his practice on patent litigation, patent prosecution and counseling, and transactional intellectual property, and on a broad range of technologies, including electronics, medical devices, software, clean technology, and mechanical devices. Prior to joining the firm, Rich worked as an associate in the San Diego office of an IP law firm.
Before launching his legal career, Rich was involved in the development of diesel injection systems at Siemens VDO and was a design engineer at Raytheon Missile System where he participated in the development and testing of a new weapon system.
Rich is fluent in German.
