Richard Joaquin is an experienced litigation and trial attorney. Rich believes that “Being a lawyer means committing oneself to standing up for people’s rights, never backing down, and caring about truth and justice.

He is very proud of the fact that he has handled cases in every one of Connecticut’s courthouses and Workers’ Compensation Commissions.
With three decades of experience Richard Joaquin is an accomplished lawyer with extensive courtroom experience representing victims of serious injuries, work injuries, medical malpractice and those needing representation for divorce, custody and family issues.
In addition Rich has represented clients in commercial litigation matters involving substantial damage claims as well as foreclosure and bankruptcy issues. Rich takes pride that he has also represented numerous fellow professionals including doctors and lawyers facing professional discipline and licensing revocation hearings.
When faced with difficult cases Rich is a relentless warrior who has prevailed in the courtroom time and time again. He prides himself on his caring and empathetic approach to working with his clients and his ability to help judges, and juries find the truth and deliver justice.
Outside of his practice, Rich is a dedicated father spending his free time with his two teenage sons.
