Risa Borowick Brown handles a range of litigation related to insurance, real estate, fraud, bank, employment and environmental matters. Risa has previously performed legal work for a variety of organizations throughout Colorado including the Colorado Court of Appeals where she served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Robert M. Russel and the Honorable Alan M. Loeb. In addition, she served as an intern for the Natural Resources and Environmental Section of the Office of the Attorney General and as an intern for the Colorado Water Trust.
Prior to her legal career, Risa worked in real estate for Sotheby’s International Realty, where she supervised pending sales and listing contracts and assisted with marketing and business development.
While in law school, Risa was elected to the board as Casenote and Comment Editor of the University of Colorado Law Review.
Risa sits on the executive board of the Thompson G. Marsh Inn of Court in Denver, a professional association of attorneys devoted to supporting excellence, civility, professionalism and ethics in the practice of law. She previously served as an interviewer for the Dartmouth Association of the Rocky Mountains and a volunteer for Telluride Tech Festival.
