
Robert Vosbein now serves as of counsel in the litigation group. Over the years, Robert has handled a variety of legal matters, including those involving maritime, commercial and securities litigation, environmental and toxic tort, general corporate and business counseling, and gaming and entertainment law concerns. He has previously defended large corporate clients such as PepsiCo and helped Fox Studios earn millions of dollars in tax credits in connection with filming in Louisiana.
Robert has litigated cases in the US District Courts of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and Texas, and in the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the US Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana and Florida and has also argued at various levels of state courts in Mississippi, Alabama and Texas.
Previously holding various firm management positions, Robert was partner-in-charge of the New Orleans office, leader of the commercial practice team and chairman of the Executive Committee. Today he shares what he’s learned about a full spectrum of legal issues to lawyers across the firm. His partners synthesize that experience, which ultimately translates into benefits for clients.
A past faculty member of the Tulane Law School’s Trial Advocacy Program, Robert now contributes his knowledge to its Dean’s Advisory Board. He belongs to several professional organizations, including the New Orleans, Louisiana State, Florida State and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and the New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel.
