Attorney Robert Schreck works at Cellino & Barnes PC. His area of practice Airplane Accident, Auto Accidents, Bicycle Accidents, Brain Injury Cases, Construction & Scaffold Accidents, Slip & Fall Injury Accident, Spinal Cord Injury Cases, Wrongful Death, Truck Accidents, Motorcycle Accidents.
I obtained my B.A. from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, Magna Cum Laude. While attending SUNY at Buffalo, I was the St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute Varsity Rowing Coach, and an Oarsman with the West Side Rowing Club.
My J.D. was earned from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. While attending Law School, I was also the St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute Assistant Varsity Football Coach.
My career as a lawyer began as a Prosecutor in the Erie County District Attorney’s office. My position as an Assistant District Attorney provided me with the opportunity to seek justice on behalf of victims of crimes in our community. I discovered that my love for trying cases was exceeded only by my passion for helping people during a difficult time in their lives.
Upon leaving the District Attorney’s office, I concluded that the only area of practice which would allow me to pursue both my love of trial work and my desire to help others was in the field of personal injury law. I have been helping people injured through the negligence of others for over 20 years. Unfortunately, during that time, the public perception of attorneys has changed.
However, I am fond of saying that “nobody likes a lawyer until they need one.” There is nothing more satisfying than assisting the family of a child who was severely injured in an automobile accident through no fault of his own; or in making sure that a wife and children are financially secure when their husband and father is severely injured and unable to work as a result of the negligence of others.
In 2003, I joined this firm. Cellino & Barnes provides the expertise, resources and support which allows me to maximize my clients’ recoveries in those situations.
Although there may be no dollar amount that can truly make up for an injured person’s losses, it is our mission to vehemently pursue every legal avenue possible on that individual’s behalf, in the hopes of easing at least one of the burdens suffered when placed in a situation that was not their fault.
In addition to my career as a personal injury attorney, I am extremely active on a number of chartable and not-for-profit boards in our community, as well as coaching Little League Baseball, current President of Amherst Youth Hockey, and a member of the Western New York Certified Football Officials Association.
I am a former President of the Ronald McDonald House, and was on the St. Benedicts Catholic Church Parish Council. My participation in these worthwhile activities is a reflection of my desire to work hard on behalf of others.
I belong to the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Erie County Bar Association. It is those traits which allow me to provide outstanding legal services to my clients.
My desire to help people in their time of need drives me to leave no stone unturned in seeking the largest possible settlement or verdict for my clients. No one provides me a better opportunity to do that than the power of Cellino & Barnes!
