
Robert Michaels is skilled and experienced litigator who represents individual, corporate, and governmental clients in a wide range of commercial disputes. As counsel for receivers, trustees and shareholders, Rob has prosecuted numerous fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and professional liability cases, recovering tens of millions of dollars for his clients.
Rob has also successfully represented businesses in a range of disputes involving information technology and the internet, including claims for trademark and copyright infringement, trade secret theft, and online defamation.
He also counsels and litigates for executives in change-of-control and compensations disputes. Rob has practiced in state and federal courts around the country, and successfully argued multiple federal appeals.
Prior to joining Goldstein and McClintock LLLP, Rob was a shareholder at Robinson Curley & Clayton, P.C. He also served as a Staff Attorney and Project Director at the Midwest’s premier environmental advocacy organization (Environmental Law & Policy Center) and an associate at Mayer Brown LLP.
