Robert “Woody” Angle is an attorney in the Financial Services Litigation practice, with a practice that includes the representation of clients in consumer law, business disputes, and commercial litigation in both federal and state court.
Specifically, Woody primarily litigates claims arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), the Truth in Lending Act (“TILA”), and the West Virginia Consumer Credit Protection Act (WVCCPA).
Woody graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was actively engaged as a Moot Court Board Member. Woody and his team won Best Brief and the overall competition at the National Moot Court Competition Region IV in 2015.
Woody was also a finalist in the Edwin M. Stanley Moot Court Competition, was elected Vice President of the Student Bar Association, and was inducted into the Order of Barristers.
